Highschool Juniors! 9/1 is the date when NCAA DI coaches can officially initiate recruiting conversations.
What does that actually mean:
📬 Emails, phone calls, and messages from college coaches can begin. (not just the automated camp reply)
✈️ Coaches can invite your daughter on a visit and make an offer.
(NCAA DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO programs are already allowed to communicate).
What's Important Now?
🎯 Players should have updated highlight reels, clear contact info, and a polished personal brand on social media. (seriously, like…right now)
💡 Talk with your Head Coach or the recruiting coordinator at your Club about what colleges have been following you/your team this summer.
🎬 Continue to send emails to the programs you are interested in!
Parents—Help your softball player stay organized, confident, and proactive. The recruiting journey is a team effort! But remember, this is her process. College coaches want to hear from “her”.
We would love to know experiences that you have had with your club teams, recruiting software (ie: Sports Recruits, Athletes Go Live), and any paid recruiting services that your family/team has used.
