History Made! Top 3 at 14u USA All-American Games

2025 was the inaugural year of the 14u Division. Representing USA across my chest on the field that the 2028 Olympics will be played, never gets old. This is my 4th Region 7 Stripes that I have coached during the USA All-American Games.

And BOOM! Back to Back 3rd place finish coaching with my girl, Angie Rains. She is the St. Louis USA Softball JO Commissioner, and I was honored to accept her invite to coach with her again. And no pressure…but 2026 is looking like we need to RUN IT BACK!

Our Tik Tok always blows up during All-American Games. The behind the scenes and in-the-moment organic feel to the posts just captures the vibe of this amazing event. Hoping to see even more players tryout next year for both the 12u and 14u All-American Games. As well as the USA Softball HPP (High Performance Program) which serves as the pipeline to Team USA. Softball in the olympics is back in the USA in 2028!

Backstage Pass: 14u All-Americans

Each year we travel to Oklahoma City, and the pressure I put on myself as a coach to give these young women a great experience, is insane. Most of them have gone through multiple tryouts to earn a spot on this roster. Not to mention they are split into two teams for our region. After their amazing summers with their club teams, they come out to represent REGION & as 7-Stripes and 7-Stars. I’ve been lucky enough to always coach 7-STRIPES!!!

This season's vibe was so different than years past. The “fun” stuff that the 12u teams love so much, just wasn’t as important to the older girls. They wanted the COMPETITION! Don’t get me wrong, they still loved the Swag Bag and all the goodies, the Team gift bag from the families, and still LOVED playing on the WCWS field. Mark my words, some of them will be back playing for a National Title one day!

And can we just get a moment for the USA Softball Store…because I spend at least $100 there each time I walk in - this year…LOVED the ivory pocket t-shirt with navy line art of the stadium (which I chose not to buy, but a ton of people did). I bought the teal crewneck sweatshirt with pockets, and a hat, and a shirt...and...

P.S. this “walking taco” may have taken the cake on ballpark food. What is your goto food option that you try at every park?

P.P.S. I get to coach these studs in the next 2 photos on my 14u National teams this season, and I absolutely cannot wait!
